Residents may have noticed the placement of seasonal decorations throughout Hollenwil Ridge this week.

The wreaths along Main Street and the garlands on select lampposts were installed during the annual early-December preparation period. Some homes near the lake have also begun displaying modest lights, which may appear muted or diffused during periods of heavy fog.

Town Office hours will shift slightly during the last two weeks of December. Updated hours will be posted once confirmation is complete.

Visitors and residents are encouraged to exercise caution on shaded walkways, as moisture from the lake tends to freeze earlier than expected during colder evenings.

An additional update will be shared closer to the holiday.

A number of residents reported hearing a sustained tone or hum shortly before dawn. No mechanical source has been identified. Public Works will continue investigating throughout the week.
